What better place to commune in the outdoors than in our own South Bay! Where you can spend part of your outdoor leisure growing vegetables, fruits and flowers at Dan McKenzie Community Gardens. Our gardeners enjoy a secured location with amenities enough to enable them to spend many hours a day nurturing their gardens.

Garden Amenities:

- 20' x 20' garden plots
- Water
- Storage sheds
- Picnic area
- Portable restroom
- Green waste receptacle

Hours: Dawn to dusk daily

How to obtain a gardening plot:
Individual plots available for lease annually for a nominal fee. The growing year begins on January 1 of each year and continues through December 31. Application packets for the growing year are mailed to those on the mailing list in late October/ early November. Applications are reviewed and plots are assigned in December until there are no remaining vacant plots.
