About Us
The Administrative Services Department is responsible for general management support to the City Council, City Manager and City Departments. This department oversees Human Resources, Risk Management and the Employee Relations function of the city.
Typical Tasks
Provide general support to the City Council, City Manager and Department Heads. Meet and confer with employee associations with regard to wages, benefits and general working conditions. Respond to and resolve citizen complaints concerning City services. Administer the risk management program, including worker's compensation and general liability program. Recruit and select City employees; develop testing materials and procedures. Develop and coordinate staff development and training programs.
